Under the heading smooth move ex lax a Michigan man was given a 400 dollar fine and 40 hours of community service for stealing Wi Fi. He parked outside a coffee shop and checked his E-mail every morning but never went inside to buy a cup of coffee. The local sheriff got wind of it and the jig was up. Mr Sheriff took it upon himself to press prosecute. The coffee shop evidently didn't know or didn't care but the Constable sure did!.

Yeah sure I've stolen plenty of wifi. I thought it was free. Does it say somewhere that you have to pay for it? Every hotel has it. Are you suppose to have a room there to use it? Sometimes I would much prefer to jack off in the parking lot of a nice hotel rather then pay the cost of getting a room and everything. And these days you don't just have to go to Starbucks for your internet use but you can find it at mcdonalds burgerking, hell, just driving down the street in my neighborhood I am able to find a variety of places to get wifi. Is this really stealing? I don't think so. Wifi shouldbe like air, free for the taking. Think about it who are we really hurting by using wifi? Everyone really benifits in the long run with publicity. What about airports? Is it a requirment to have purchased a plane ticket to use wifi there? Using the internet improves our communication which improves our economy which makes the whole quality of human mankind better. Let's have free wifi that is ad supported. Aren't we already an ad supported nation? Now one cop comes by when your enjoying your free wifi and fucks up the whole human race. Of course I always prefer getting off in the privacy of my own home.
