Under the heading smooth move ex lax a Michigan man was given a 400 dollar fine and 40 hours of community service for stealing Wi Fi. He parked outside a coffee shop and checked his E-mail every morning but never went inside to buy a cup of coffee. The local sheriff got wind of it and the jig was up. Mr Sheriff took it upon himself to press prosecute. The coffee shop evidently didn't know or didn't care but the Constable sure did!.

In the no shit sherlock moment of the week CNET is calling bullshit to reports that the iPhone will be available on a pre paid basis from AT&T. We don't think IPhone and prepaid belong in the same sentence. Just imagine the little trac phone display at RiteAid first you have the $19 Moto and the $39 Nokia and then the $599 dollar 8GB iPhone??? What's wrong with this picture??

We were on top of this yesterday and one of our posters Ron even started a flame war over at the BGR. Ha ha ha...

We have been waiting for tommorow for 6 months. Tommorow is the end of Idol mania season. Sure the winning contestant will do press for several weeks to come, and the 12 finalist will be out on tour this summer but we will have no more judge drama. No more Paula showing up tossed for press junkets. No more Simon hurting some, usually large contestants feelings. No more allegations of inappropriate contestant behavior surfacing every five minutes all over the blogosphrere.
Here at the Great Indoorsman we must admit we did enjoy this seasons Antonella Barba drama. As a matter of fact she will be on tonight! I wonder how she looks? What had she done with her hot lil self??? This season has been a snooze for us at TGI however we will set are tivo at least to check out Antonella. JP

AT&T Pre-Paid Customers Get To Rock The Iphone Also!

We were perusing one of our favorite blogs yesterday and we saw that the Iphone would be made available on a pre-paid basis. While we think this is cool, we kind of wonder who would get an expensive phone like this and not have a contract, with a data plan and unlimited text etc. . . We kind of feel this is like landing a date with Carmen Electra and then taking her to Applebee's! Not that we have anything against Applebee's, but if you are going to play in the big leagues you are going to need a jock strap. . . And the wonderful folks down at AT&Cingular or whatever there name is will be more than happy to hook you up. . .
